There's a reason for GPs. And Internists. Hypoglycemia is not an unknown problem to medical doctors. Metabolic rates are measurable, and not much of a mystery. However, there are several things that can cause the problem, and a GP or Internist might be cheaper for starters. Their job is to direct you to a specialist when necessary. If you start with the wrong specialist, you will waste more time and money, and suffer the danger of having the cause misdiagnosed.

Best of luck to you. Live long and prosper.

How would you know? The symptoms are almost the same as diabetes. You need a gen. prac. to run some test on you. There are other problems that can cause the same symptoms.

I know because I am hypoglycemic.

If you are tested by the regular GP and find a problem you can then be refereed to a specialist. I do not think you can just walk into a specialists office and say I don't know for sure but I think I am.

Create a video blog...instantly.

To a General Practitioner or a family doctor which can guide you to the specific doctor who specializes in your condition.
This might cost a big more because the GP will take some money off you for his time, it will be much cheaper just to avoid the GP visit and go straight to the specialized doctor but unfortunately I dont know what doctor to see about your condition.

Hope I helped.

I used to have hypoglycemia but cured it by eating regular meals with yougurt. The acidophilus in the yougurt will enable your digestive system to produce more sugar in the hours after you eat. sounds dumb I know, but just try it.
