He’ll/She’ll probably be fine but will be at a higher risk of developing diabetes himself/herself and will probably be a larger than normal baby. but if she keeps her sugar under tight control everything should be ok.

No there are no possibility that the baby will be sans any prob when it is born. but I have seen that diabetes run in genes; so there is a good chance the baby will get it in heredity. you can visit this site for more info
