Anything you eat should be fine. I would recommend something that will stick with you for a while, since you will be fasting for 12 hours and will probably be famished when you do eat that morning after the test. You don't want to falsely lower your levels by not eating like you normally do because that could have an impact on the medicine your doctor may give you. Carbs may build up blood sugar, but you don't want to risk totally bottoming out while you are fasting. If one of the levels is an A1C, then what you eat the night before doesn't matter since the A1C is a measurement of glucose levels over a period of months. Good Luck :)

To keep carbs from raising the glucose level you need to each about 7 grams of protein to every 35 grams of carbs. This will help keep the blood levels nice and low. You can do that everyday and if you get really good at it you can keep medication levels minimal or give them up if you are a Type II... have you checked out the different sites on the web that deal with diabetes they have terrific information.

<a href="http://kansieo.com">Create a video blog...instantly.</a>

Eat what you would normally eat. If that is a typical meal for you, go for it. It sounds pretty healthy.

During a 12-hour fast, hypothetically insulin in your body will process the carbs and your blood sugar should be normal. If it isn't, that's what you need to know. So eating normally is the best thing to do.
