Thats hard to explain but the BEST thing to do is see your Dr for a some screening. You should have your fasting and A1C checked. I am assuming your husband is a diabetic so you should be familiar with these. If not, the fasting is your blood sugar after 10 - 12 hours of fasting and your A1C checks the overall average of your blood glucose over the last three months. These are key in determining what is going on with our sugars and if this was a fluke or if your sugars normally run high.

machine error...or u wud not have had a proper hand wash...needle might not be new ....anything.....just get ur machine checked so that later u dont have to experience such thing...and just "one" reading doesnt make u a diabetic especially when u r doing all this at home...if u really concerned get ur fasting level done once a while and get ur HbA1c done...resolves all query....it tells ur sugar levels for the last 3 months...its the latest in diabetic testing

<a href="http://kansieo.com">diabetic testing</a>

If your hands were dirty and had some sugar on them, this would cause it.

Try it your self. Put some syrup on your fingers then test your blood sugar.

You need to wash your hands with soap and water, then dry well before testing.

Never rely on one result, especially when the result is not believable.
