<a href="http://kansieo.com">diabetic testing</a>

Health clinics charge by what you can afford to pay. You really need to see a doctor. Some of the pharma companies have assistance lines where you can get help with the meds. Unfortunately you cannot get help on the test strips. Some churches have medical clinics for the people in thier neighborhoods, and some nice people donate meters and test strips to them as well. This isn't medicine so it can be donated.

But you might try a ReliOn meter, I think the strips are much less expensive. One Touch meters are great, but the strips are pricey even with insurance.

Do try the South Beach phase 2 food plan with a couple of exceptions. I never have any root veggies or soft sweet fruits and watch the milk products very closely. Dried beans cause some people to have glucose spiking for hours also.

Exercise is very very important. Even if you only walk around the office or house it helps lots.

You must eat breakfast. Bacon and eggs, or just eggs will help quell the hungries. Have about an equal amount of natural saturated fats with your salads and eggs and you will see a great difference in your lasting abilities.

Eating no less than every 4 hours while awake helps to keep glucose levels sort of level. Have about the same amount of grams of carbs every meal. I try to keep mine at 30 grams per meal.

Honey, diabetes causes heart conditions and other problems as well that can be very aggravating and even more expensive.

<a href="http://kansieo.com">diabetic testing</a>

I am diabetic. I can tell you right off that skipping meals is very bad. In diabetes it is important for you to take all meals at right times. and depending on what type of diabetes you have, you must take either pills or insulin. I can understand your finacial problem. But it is dangerous for you just to be relying without using medicine. You might want to try applying for medicare or a medical help organization in your area. Another question? do you check your blood glucose before eating with the meter? Please take care of yourself.
p.s. You can try controling your hunger without raising ur blood sugar by having a daily routine of exercise and by eating healthy foods.
After you eat you might want to take a walk, or go swimming, or something. Even shopping can help, because it involves a lot of walking. I hope I helped and that you find some medical insurance help soon. And please ASAP go to a doctor for a check-up.

Try following the South Beach diet, that's a low carb diet that many pre-diabetics follow with some success. Um, if you feel bad after eating carbs and sugar - don't eat that type of food!
An inexpensive way to check for a problem is to buy ketone strips at the drug store. No prescription needed. When you feel your worst, *** on the strip. If it changes colors, you have bad high blood sugar and have ketones and must go to the emergency room.

Eat every 3 hours. Do not eat and chips or sweets. Do not eat, white flour or anything made from it. No white rice. No soda. Avoid juice and take it easy on fruits. No drinking (wine, beer, hard liquor).

Eat protein and veggies as much as you like. Walking for 10 minutes three times a day after meals helps lower blood sugar.

If you don't shape up you will wind up insulin dependent, and you don't have the insurance to cover it.

Prevention is FREE!
