I really think the only piece of advice to give in the instance is go see the doctor and yes I know you already no this. It's best to not get this type of advice through this forum. There are many people out there that know nothing about diabetes yet give lots of advice on the subject. My question to you is .. Does your husband see an Endocrinologist or a General Practitioner? If he sees a GP and isn't getting the treatment he needs he really should see an Endocrinologist - a specialist in the field of diabetes. I only say this because I have found many Type II's do not see one or know that they exist.

I hope you get the answers you need and that it isn't a serious problem. Sounds like he is taking great care of himself and that is FANTASTIC - It's great he has you looking out for him, we have to help as much as we can! Good Luck!
