I am a diabetic too. Sometimes i wake up w/ a stomach ache and it’s because my blood sugar is higher than it should be. You need to balance out your food and get the right ammount of insulin. That will make you feel alot better. You might be waking up with high bloodsugar because you had too much insulin and didn’t wake up when you blood sugar was low so your body made extra sugar and over shot you level. Hope this helps…best of luck!

You need to have the doctor check your thyroid levels the next time you go in. This can certainly give you that drained energy feeling if your thyroid levels are low and it happens a lot to diabetics. Also, ask for a prescription for Zestril. It regulates your blood pressure and protects your kidneys all at the same time. No harmful side effects of anything.

You left out too much critical information… Anyone who answers this is merely guessing. Are you overweight? What’s your bloodwork look like? Lipids? HbA1C? etc. What are your daily sugar readings? Are you type 1 or type 2? I felt much the same before I took control of my diabetes… except for the shaking and unconsciousness. Too many questioned unanswered regarding BMI, medication etc but sounds as though your blood sugars are too high and out of control.
You need to see a Specialist, not a GP.
The sooner you do this, the quicker you will start to feel well again – but do it.
